Chompian of the Month: Kimberly Clark

In honor of Global Running Day in June and our ongoing mission to fuel performance with purpose, we’re excited to spotlight Kim Clark—marathoner, coach, advocate, and community builder—as our Chompian of the Month!

Kim is the inspiring force behind @trackclubbabe, a running community dedicated to helping women chase big goals, stay safe, and find joy in the miles. After running her first marathon untrained at 17, Kim returned to the sport over a decade later and hasn’t looked back. Now a certified coach, she shares her passion for the sport with thousands—alongside her husband (a U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier!) and their daughter, who’s already a future runner in the making.

From training for the prestigious Sydney Marathon—her final World Marathon Major—to advocating for women’s safety in running, Kim is a true game-changer in the endurance space.

Can you tell us about yourself - what you do, a bit about your story, etc.?

I am a marathon runner - I ran a marathon untrained at 17 years old and then retired right after that painful race. Then I picked it up at 29 years old just wanting to see how it would be if I trained. I got hooked on running and improved so much. I met my husband at a half marathon race in Tijuana, Mexico. He ran in the Marathon Olympic Trials and we have a daughter that also loves to run. We love to share how we have improved our running with others & are running coaches that love to help other reach their huge goals too!

What’s your best tip on how to stay positive?

Believe that things are rigged in your favor. It makes life a lot easier to really believe that things are meant to work out for you.

How do you consider yourself a “game changer?”

I advocate for women's safety in running. I want to make this sport safer for every woman so that they can run without fear.

What’s the best thing you do for your personal health everyday (mental or physical or both!) that allows you to be the best version of yourself?

Go on a run! It's the best thing - it keeps me moving, gets me out in nature which is sooo good for my mind, and is incredible for mental health and to decompress.

How are you planning to challenge yourself in the next year?

I am running the Sydney Marathon in August - this the new 7th World Marathon Major & accomplishing the world marathon majors has been a 10 year dream for me! It's even more meaningful now because it was a goal I set before I had a daughter and now I get to finish it with my daughter.
