At Chomps, we offer three different protein options when it comes to our meat sticks including beef, venison, and turkey.
Our turkey sticks come in three different flavors including Original Turkey, Jalapeño Turkey and Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey. While most store-bought turkey jerky contains brown sugar, soy sauce or added sugar, Chomps has no sugar added. We created a healthy turkey jerky that is certified gluten-free, paleo, and Whole30 approved, too.
While most consumers are familiar with buying turkey jerky at gas stations or on the road, you can find our turkey snack sticks at more than 16,000 retailers like your go-to Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, Target and even Walgreens and Walmart. Our turkey jerky sticks are a great option to throw into your shopping cart for those times you need a quick, convenient snack or you need a salad topper for your next lunch.
Turkey Jerky Flavors at Chomps
The Original Turkey flavor features the similar savory taste as our Original Beef that first made us popular. It’s slightly smoky and slightly spicy since we use black pepper, red pepper, sea salt, garlic powder and coriander in this turkey jerky recipe. This stick is the most mild in flavor of the three turkey flavors.
Jalapeño Turkey has the same base of flavors as our Original Turkey but with an added “kick” from real pieces of jalapeños throughout. For those who like a bit of a spicier flavor, the Jalapeño Turkey is the best option to choose from.
Lastly, our newest flavor to the Chomps lineup is our Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey stick which has a blend of spices including chili pepper, fennel seed and oregano that create that perfectly bold and slightly spicy pepperoni flavor without any added sugar or artificial flavors. If you’re a pizza or pasta fan, our Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey stick makes for a delicious pizza topper with mozzarella cheese or with.
Where does our Turkey Jerky come from?
We pride ourselves on being transparent with our sourcing when it comes to the ingredients in our turkey sticks. We get our turkey from two domestic sources. Our organic free-range turkey is derived from Pitman Farm's/Mary's Turkeys in California, and our free-range, antibiotic free turkey comes from Ferndale Market in Cannon Falls, MN.

Snacks we love to pair with Turkey Jerky
Chomps Turkey snack sticks are a phenomenal snack to have on their own but we always love adding fruit, nuts or crackers with them especially if you need something to keep you fuller for longer. When it comes to pairing Chomps with other snacks, we like to pair different textures, flavors and macronutrients together.
Homemade Trail Mix
Try making this homemade trail mix to throw together in a mason jar or reusable container to snack on alongside your Original Turkey Chomps.
- 2oz cashews
- 2oz marcona almonds
- 2oz dark chocolate chips
- 2oz unsweetened dried cranberries
- 2oz golden raisins
- 2 oz pistachios
Fruit Plate
A few fruits we like to pair with our turkey snack sticks are dried apples, fresh mango, watermelon and mixed berries.
Gluten-free crackers and hummus
When looking for a gluten-free cracker, many tend to have added sugar so always look for an option without and then for a hummus we like to do a lemon or garlic to pair with our Original Turkey Chomps. Alternatively, a roasted red pepper hummus would be delicious with our Jalapeño Turkey Chomps.
What protein is healthier - Beef or Turkey?
While we consider both to be healthy options, our turkey sticks do have fewer calories (80 calories vs. 100) and more protein (12g vs. 10g) in our 1.15oz size sticks. Turkey jerky does tend to be leaner than beef jerky with a bit less fat but both come in 100 calories or under, have less than 10 ingredients and serve as a powerhouse snack to fuel you through your day.
Which flavor profile you decide on is entirely up to you!
