The Healthiest Snack for Optimal Healthy Living

Jerky has become one of the most praised health snacks on the market due to its high protein, low carb, and low fat content. Unlike other so-called “healthy snacks”, jerky is a whole food - made from real meat - that our body prefers.

Because of it’s healthy macronutrient ratio, jerky is a perfect low calorie snack option, great for anyone looking to lose weight.

Here’s why jerky is like jet fuel for your body:

Protein is the Most Important Component of a Healthy Nutrition Regimen

Food is made up of three macronutrients: protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Out of the three, protein is considered the most important nutrient that our body needs to live a healthy, rejuvenated life.

Protein is a macronutrient essential in a variety of vital body functions. Ample protein intake provides several health benefits including:

  • Reduced appetite and hunger
  • Increased strength and muscle mass
  • Good for your bones
  • Increases metabolism and fat burning
  • Lowers blood pressure
  • Can help you lose weight
  • Does not harm your kidneys
  • Helps repair your body after injury

Carbohydrates are the Only Non-Essential Macronutrient

When you look at the nutrition label of other snacks like granola bars, cereal bars, and even some protein bars, you’ll notice that the carbohydrate intake is usually above 40 grams.

Recent scientific literature has now proven that carbohydrates are the only macronutrient that our body does not need to survive. This means even without carbs, your body can run perfectly from fats and protein [*].

You may have even realized when you eat carbohydrate-heavy meals, that you feel hungrier more frequently. This occurs because carbs spikes your insulin which, increases blood sugar and you end up crashing soon afterwards, leaving you hungry for more carbs.

That’s why jerky is known as one of the best snack alternatives for people who live a busy lifestyle. It provides you with the most efficient energy source without the unwarranted processed carbohydrates.

Not only will you experience smoother energy levels, but you’ll also benefit from fat loss!

Pay Close Attention to Jerky Brands with Harmful Ingredients

Not all jerky is created equally. Jerky brands you may find in gas stations are typically filled with nitrates, excess sodium, and sugar. These ingredients can be detrimental to your overall health and derail you from your ultimate goal.

When you’re choosing a jerky brand, it’s imperative that you look at the nutrition label to see if any of these artificial ingredients are used.

It’s like eating meat from a fast food chain compared to a five star restaurant! We took this into account when creating CHOMPS and made it our mission to provide only the healthiest, natural ingredients available.

CHOMPS Jerky: Sourced From Real Food Ingredients for the Health Conscious Person

You are what you eat. And CHOMPS knows that fueling your body with all-natural foods is the best way to live an energetic, revitalized life free of metabolic disease. CHOMPS Jerky contains only the essential ingredients your body needs without nitrates and artificial ingredients.

So what makes CHOMPS Jerky better than the rest?

High-Quality Protein

All protein isn’t created equally or digested the same in your body. Protein from high-quality meat is digested more efficiently and effectively compared to any other type.

That’s why our beef jerky line is sourced only from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef. And our turkey jerky line is sourced from only free range, antibiotic turkey. This means CHOMPS sticks weren’t made from animals who were fed antibiotics or hormones! All of CHOMPS' animals were raised in a free range environment and consumed only vegetarian diets.

Our beef and turkey jerky contains 9g and 10g of protein respectively of the highest quality meat money can buy.

No Artificial Ingredients

CHOMPS Jerky is made with 100% all-natural ingredients without the unnecessary fillers (no pork!) that big-named brands like to use. While it requires us to spend more on our end, it helps us create the highest quality jerky on the market.

No Excess Sodium or Sugar

Both the beef and turkey jerky line contains only 290mg of sodium. This is 25% less per ounce than the amount other jerky brands use!
