Caramelized Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 yellow onions
  • 2 tbsp ghee or butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 cups plain greek yogurt (or sour cream) 4 oz cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp chives

For serving:

Potato Chips
Chomps Beef Sticks
Veggies

Directions

  1. Slice your onions thinly. Melt butter in a large sauté pan over medium low heat. Add onions and saute for about 20-30 minutes until deep golden brown.

  2. Remove from heat and let cool.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix together greek yogurt and cream cheese. Stir until well combined.

  4. Add most of the caramelized onions but leave a few leftovers to top the dip with. Season with

    salt and pepper.

  5. Sprinkle with chives.

  6. Serve in a bowl alongside chomps, veggies, potato chips, crackers, etc.
