A snack packed with protein, fresh vegetables and a hearty ranch that any kid or adult will love.
Make this easy snack with your kids for an after school lunch or for yourself to have on hand throughout the week in between meetings. We love making a homemade ranch to go with our crudité as it is fresher than the store bought version. We hope you enjoy this 10 minute snack and don't forget to add some Original Beef Chomplings to them for a pack of protein!
Ingredients:
Ranch
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp chives, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper
Crudité
- Carrots
- White cheddar or any hard cheese, cut into small shapes
- Grape or colorful cherry tomatoes
- Celery
- 4-6 Original Beef Chomplings
- Toothpicks or skewers for Chomps
- Cucumbers sliced lengthwise and cut into thin strips
Directions:
- Mix your ingredients together for your ranch and set aside. We prefer to make it in a measuring cup with a lid so we can store the extra in the fridge for a salad dressing!
- Use at least 5-7 small plastic cups or tiny mason jars and fill about ¼ of the way with ranch dip.
- Next place in your veggies, Chomps and cheese.
- Arrange on a platter or cutting board and serve OR keep in fridge for 3-4 days for kids, family, friends, etc. Enjoy!
