Ingredients:

1 Gluten Free Cornbread Mix – prepared (unsweetened)

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 large onion, chopped

1 large apple, peeled and chopped

1 lb. turkey sausage meat (casing removed) or Chomps meat sticks

2 teaspoons poultry seasoning

1-cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Heat 2-tablespoons olive oil in large skillet. Add chopped onion and peeled, chopped apple, and sauté until onion is opaque. Add crumbled sausage meat (casing removed) or Chomps and sauté until no longer pink. Stir and mix to break up sausage while cooking.
- Stir in 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
- In a very large bowl, crumble 6-cups of prepared cornbread (sugar omitted). Add 1-cup chicken broth and the onion, apple and sausage mixture, and mix together well.
- Bake in covered, greased casserole dish at 350-degrees for 1 hour, or use to stuff a 12-18 lb. turkey.
