Ingredients:
- 2 oz. tequila
- 2 oz. lime juice
- 3 cucumber slices
- 1.5 oz triple sec
- 3 slices of jalapeño
- Handful of ice
- Club soda, ginger beer or ginger kombucha for topping
Directions:
- First combine the tequila, lime juice and cucumbers in a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler to muddle the cucumbers, tequila and lime juice together. Then add in triple sec (or you could do orange liquor), 3 slices of jalapeño and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously to get the jalapeño flavor to mix into the drink.
- Take an empty glass and put lime around the rim and then place the rim in 1 tbsp of salt (I also love the chile lime seasoning from Trader Joe’s - this would be a good option too!). Add ice to the glass and then pour the drink over the ice. Top with club soda for a unique twist to the margarita or a little bit of ginger beer or kombucha to make it unique! Enjoy.
