Taco Salads in A Jar

  • 2 cups chopped romaine
  • 1 cup of black beans
  • 1/2 cup roasted corn
  • 2 Jalapeño Beef Chomps sticks, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced radishes
  • 1 avocado, in chunks


  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ tsp sea salt


• Use 3 16oz mason jars to create the salad. Place ⅓ or ½ of the dressing at the bottom of the jars, followed by about ⅓ cup of black beans, handful of corn, chopped up Jalapeño Beef Chomps sticks, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, radishes and then finely sliced chunks of avocado. Add a handful of romaine at the very top, last.

• Feel free to tie a compostable fork onto the mason jar with a string. You can shake the salad up and the dressing will mix in or you can shake it and empty it into a bowl if you're eating it at home. Enjoy!
